Addendum To Nature's Retreat
Another treat from Mother Nature this past weekend that merits a spot on the list: the sight of fireflies in the night. Magical. I can't believe I forgot it.

Sounds heavenly! And perhaps you can attribute your forgetfullness to simply sensory overload... Lucky you!!
I also forgot the sight of a red-tailed hawk circling higher & higher in the sky, and the sound of its high-pitched screech as it was being chased by a smaller bird!
