Never Too Old For A Care Package

Mom & Dad are here. The apartment's looking great. I got all of my cleaning done except for the dreaded tub, but that's ok. They're staying at my sister's so they won't be seeing it.

Mom brought Sis and I each a care package. I just unpacked mine, here's the final inventory:

• 1 pack of green pepper seeds, 1 pack of heirloom tomato seeds and 3 heirloom tomatoes, all harvested from Mom & Dad's garden
• 2 bottles of homemade apple jelly
• 1 bottle of homemade apple sauce
• 1 bottle of homemade chili sauce
• 1 big tin of homemade chocolate chip cookies
• 1 container of Grenache caramel spread

I'm giddy. I skipped with joy as I opened each preciously wrapped item, savouring the surprise of its content. I don't care how old I am, I don't think I'll ever be too old for a care package!
