Connectivity Woes

Although I'm enjoying this variety of non Web-related activities, I'm getting annoyed. Monday I spent two hours waiting for an ISP tech support rep to answer my call only to be told the problem would be fixed that night. It wasn't. Last night I spent over two and half hours on hold for the same tech support only to have my cordless phone die on me two minutes after I reached a rep.
Ugh. Connectivity woes indeed.
- vacuumed the apartment
- drew a mandala
- drafted five emails related to my job search - they're still in my Drafts folder waiting to be sent
- worked on identifying my dream career by finally doing the exercises in What Color is Your Parachute?
- spent two hours learning how to upload and manipulate pictures on my iBook
- watched a movie
- put together a to-do list for the week

Frustrating indeed! Luckily, the connections that really count - family & friends - won't cut out just when you need them most.
As the saying goes, what is important is rarely urgent. :-) Good for you for making the best out of a pesky situation...
